It was a beautiful morning, birds were chirping in the garden, the workers were busy doing their work, meanwhile the Raghuvanshi elders were seated on the dining table waiting for Ashrit to arrive.

It's a ritual, no one eats until the king comes and starts eating.

Harsh came down along with his siblings and sat down in his place not before taking his grandparents blessings and then he greeted everyone “good morning everyone” only his grandparents greeted him back. Understanding the tension between his family he didn't say anything.

Kalyani noticed the pale faces of her elder son and daughter in law, she took a deep breath and asked them in her authoritative voice “kya hua? Tum dono ko?” Prisha looked at her mother in law as she said “ kya hona hai, maasa? sab toh katam hogaya hai maasa. Hamare Ashrit ki zindagi barbad toh ho gayi” a tear escaped prisha's eye but she wiped it quickly.

“ Jo bhi hua acha ke liye hua hai prisha.” Kalyani again said, making Ranjeet look at her.

“ Maasa aap jante hai, Jiya ki shaadi Ashrit se hona kitna zaroori thi phir bhi aap ne uski shaadi —” Ranjeet stopped in the middle as his voice raised in front of his mother as his emotions took over him.

“ Hum sab jaante hai, hum par bharosa karo. Sab theek hoga” kalyani said looking at prisha as her eyes softened, that's when they hear a voice which everyone hates “kaise theek hoga maasa, Ashrit ki shaadi Noor se hui hai, Jiya se nahi. Jo sab theek hoga” devika said while coming down.

Her aura was giving some dangerous wibe to everyone, the youngsters shoulders stiffened as they looked at her, Kalyani noticed them,“humhe pata hai hum kya kar Rahi hai, tum mujhe mat sikhao kya karna hai, beti ho beti ki tarah rehna” kalyani said to devika her voice was sharp and laced with hate.

Devika gritted her teeth, at her mother's words and sat on her seat.

Then they heard the sound of shoes clicking on the floor and the hall once again turned silent as Ashrit Singh Raghuvanshi made his entry in the dining hall. Seeing him the youngsters shoulders relaxed,

Ashrit sat on his head king chair and greeted everyone in his hard,husky voice

“Good morning everyone” everyone greeted him back, that's when devika noticed that he came alone and Noor was nowhere, she smirked “wahh, maasa aapki Rani saa apni muh dikhai nahi karegi” she mocked looking at Ashrit who closed his eyes hearing her.

Kalyani glared at her daughter and then she looked at Ashrit and asked him “Ashrit beta Noor?”

“ Aa Rahi hai dadi” he said in his hard voice making kalyani smile .

A few minutes later they heard ankle bell sound and all members turned to look at the staircase and their eyes widened immediately,as they looked at her being shocked,

But why?

There stood Noor, in her white shirt and cream color pants, her hair was in a ponytail and she was wearing her sneakers.

But there is nothing to be shocked Right?

Then why are they shocked?

Because, a girl who is newly married should be wearing a red saree on her first day in her new house,but here Noor was standing in office outfit and a newly wedded should wear her vermillion and nuptial chain but our Noor was not wearing them, she was looking like a unmarried girl.

Noor came down slowly and stood in front of them, Noor was feeling uncomfortable under their gaze. “Why are you guys looking at me like you saw some ghost?” she asked them innocently while checking her clothes.

“Bhabhi, don't tell me you are going to office” pihu asked her controlling her shocked state,

“Haa” Noor said and kalyani, pihu mentally facepalmed themselves.

“ Beta where is your sindoor and nuptial chain?” Kalyani asked Noor making her glup pihu noticed it and to diverting the topic she asked “ bhabhi aap ko nahi pata aaj kya hai” Noor shook her head at her.

“ Beta Aaj tumhari pehli rasoi hai” kalyani said and Noor looked at her in confusion,

“ Vo kya hota hai?” Noor asked innocently while devika smirked at her answer

“Lagta hai aapko angrezi bahu mili hai maasa” Devika said and chuckled, making Ashrit blood boil.

“ Noor beta, do you know how to cook?” Kalyani asked her in a soft voice , Noor nodded and said “ ha dadi I can cook” , kalyani nodded in happiness and said “go to kitchen and make something sweet” Noor nodded unwillingly and was about to go, but she heard a voice which said

“Nahi,ye koi rasam Puri nahi karegi, vo hak sirf meri bahu ki hai, Jiya ki hai” prisha said loudly, making Noor stop ,her heart clenched at prisha's words

“Par prisha —” kalyani tried to make her understand but prisha was stubborn.

Devika smrink widened looking at the fight and Ashrit clenched his fist looking at her smirk and he yelled loudly his voice, harsh, raspy and loud which made Noor to flinch

“ Stop it” Ashrit looked at Noor who was looking scared, his eyes softened a little as he said

“Harsh take her to office” Harsh and other three nodded and stood up from their place and they took Noor out .

“ Ye kya tamasha hai, subah subha haa? Aur maa ? Aap ko kya hua hai?” Ashrit asked his mother, who looked at him with tears in his eyes, Ashrit's heart clenched at the site, he immediately went to his and hugged her who broke into cries, everyone heart clenched looking at her, Ranjeet heart clenched looking at his wife and he left from there. Meanwhile Devika internally smrinked looking at the crying family.

On the other side……..

“ Why does she hate me so much?” Noor asked out of nowhere, making Harsh look at her.They were in the car, Harsh was driving the car and she sat in the passenger seat, Pihu, Darsh and Daksh went in their own cars .

Harsh signed and looked at her “ maybe she needs time bhabhi, badi maa loved Jiya bhabhi from the first day, i think that's the reason, it will took time and don't take her words to heart” Noor nodded understanding, but her mind drifted to piyush.

They reached the office, and they both came out of the car and entered inside the elevator which is in the parking lot.

Instead of pressing her floor button she pressed piyush's floor button, reaching the floor,the elevator door opened and she came out and looked at the employees working without caring about others person, shaking her head,she went to piyush cabin and was about to push the door but stopped seeing the scene in front of her , her body froze at the spot and her surroundings faded away, her heart broke

into million pieces, looking the scene unfolding in front of her.
