In the era of democratic Governments all over the world, there is a state which is still ruled by the Royal families. Rajasthan— a state which is still ruled by the Royal families.
Jodhpur is a city which is ruled by the Raghuvanshi's - one of the most powerful Royal families in the whole country. The name itself sends shivers down people's spines but they are one of the best rulers Rajasthan has.
Abhiraj Singh Raghuvanshi— a man who aced in his own era was loved by the people, most for his kind nature. He was a person who kept his people's needs before his own family. He was also a sharp minded man when it came to business.
Then the throne was passed to his elder son Ranjeet Singh Raghuvanshi— a man who followed his father's footsteps and became the best king in his era. He was almost like his father's shadow— an obedient son and a good ruler. He was sharp minded too when it comes to business just like his father.
And now it's time to pass the throne to Ashrit Singh Raghuvanshi— the elder son of Ranjeet and the elder grandson of Abhiraj. Ashrit is nothing like his father and grandfather, he is the most ruthless, cold hearted person when it comes to business.
But yet there was a person who melted the cold heart of his.
He has THE MR PERFECT personality, he hates when people do anything wrong, he needs everything perfect and on time.
Ranjeet, his father, is ready to pass his throne to Ashrit but before that Ashrit needs to get married.
There is a ritual in their family that has been performed over ages —that the man should get married before he becomes a king and if he wants to become a king then he must be 30 years old and married. And now Ashrit is 29 years old. So, he has to get married in order to get the throne.
To be honest, the ritual may be ridiculous but it's necessary considering the situations of the Raghuvanshi family and it's not the only reason behind his marriage.
📍At the Warehouse..
“Ahhhhhhh” a man screamed on top of his lungs, as another bucket of hot water splashed over his wounded body.
“ Stop, screaming, you fucker.” yelled Harsh Singh Raghuvanshi, the younger cousin brother of Ashrit . Then he took a knife from the side table and started to make diagonal cuts on the man's body making him scream in pain.
“ahhhhh, sto..p pl.ea..s.e” the man pleaded, stuttering.
Meanwhile a man came running to Harsh and informed “sir, boss is here” Harsh nodded and smirked looking at the man.
“ Now I will stop and he will begin” saying that Harsh turned around and came back and sat on his seat.
The door of the warehouse opened and The Ashrit Singh Raghuvanshi stepped in,with his usual blank face, which makes people think that he cannot feel anything. His one glance was enough to make any one shudder. His aura was dominating but powerful. As he walked inside, his steps echoed in the dimlit room.
He was wearing his black tuxedo paired with cufflinks and the Royal broach gifted by his grandfather.
He was looking devilishly handsome. A perfect combination of the calm before the storm.
Behind him was his Personal Assistant & a close friend —Samar Agarwal followed closely. The duo looked at the scene unfolding in front of them with blank faces.
A man- probably in his early twenties was tied to the chair with metal wires, which can send shocks through his body every ten seconds. And blood was flowing from his hands and legs.
Thanks to Harsh, his face was destroyed completely in a way no one can ever recognize him. Even plastic surgery can never repair his face.
“ Did he reveal anything?” Ashrit asked, while wearing his gloves.
“ He didn't open his mouth except for screaming.”
Ashrit nodded and walked near the man and raised his hand to fist his hair and once he did, he yanked his head back, making the man scream in pain,
“ ahhhhhhhh”. Then Ashrit punched him near his, ‘ where the sunlight never shines.’
“ Open your mouth and tell me, Bastard. Who sent you?" Ashrit asked him in his cold voice, making the man Shiver yet he didn't said anything.
The man is Pavan, a clerk in Ashrit's company. He worked in Raghuvanshi and sons for years but in the end he chose to betray them and help their rivals. And Ashrit hates the people who betrayed him but now it's not only about betraying him but this man messed with his family— his little sister.
He tried to touch Pihu in a lustful way. And that added fuel to Ashrit's anger. So, now he decided to give him the most painful death.
Pavan opened his mouth to say something but another punch landed on his face this time. “Answer us,” Harsh yelled.
Pavan swallowed hard. He opened his mouth and said.
“ Ra..gh..uve..er pra...t..ap s..i.n..gh”
Just a name. It was enough to boil the blood of the Raghuvanshi brothers. Ashrit grabbed the nearest dagger and in a snap of a second, he cut his throat, the blood oozed out and the head fell down.
“ Neil!” Ashrit called his head guard and Neil came running to him and bowed down in respect.
“Clean this mess, and burn his body.” Ashrit ordered and he nodded.
“ What a nice show. It would be better if I had my popcorn.”
Samar said with a sad face.
Harsh just scoffed at him. “Seriously?”
Samar grinned in return.
“Let's go” Ashrit said interpreting their conversation, the duo nodded and they came out of warehouse.

📍 Raghuvanshi Palace
Ashrit along with Harsh entered the living hall of the palace. The palace was decorated like a bride adorned in gold and silver. Every part of it was decorated with the mixed-gold items, which shined brightly when the sun lights fell on them.
And why not, it's the wedding of their soon to be King and the Eldest son of Raghuvanshi's.
Hearing footsteps, everyone stopped their work and glanced at Ashrit. Abhiraj, his grandfather came to him and stood in front of him.
“Where were you, young man?” he demanded.
“Taking care of some business,Dadu,” Ashrit replied calmly.
“As far as I remember, I banished you from going out.”
There was a brief silence. Ashrit didn’t flinch, didn’t lower his gaze—just stood there with that same defiant calmness Abhiraj had grown all too familiar with. It wasn’t arrogance, no. It was conviction. The kind that irritated Abhiraj, mostly because it reminded him too much of himself.
And Abhiraj just shook his head at his grandson’s stubbornness.
He knows that Ashrit doesn't want to get married. He knows that Ashrit was uninterested in this marriage. And That's exactly the reason why Ashrit was making excuses of work and going to office to ignore this marriage shit and all but he knows no matter what happens he has to get married not for the sake of this Kingdom and throne but for the sake of his own purpose and life.
“Go and get ready, your in-laws will be arriving soon.” Abhiraj said to him, unwillingly Ashrit nodded and went to his chamber.
🔖Time skip ....
In the evening the Raghuvanshi's welcomed The Mehrotra Family with a grand Welcome.
The Mehrotra’s — They were one of the most high rising business families in the country.
It is said that their textile business was a hit within the few months of launching the Mehrotra textiles as their products are made with pure and finest fabrics.
And now their value in the business world increased more as they joined their alliance with the Royal family of Jodhpur.
As everyone gathered, the mehendi and sangeet ceremony started by the host.
Prisha, Ashrit's mother, approached Jiya Bedi- the soon to be bride and sat beside her.
“ Main apni bahu ke haathon mein mehendi khud lagana chahti hoon.”
Jiya smiled at her and forwarded her hand.
(“I want to apply mehendi on my daughter-in-law’s hands myself.”)
It's a ritual in their family where the mother-in-law applies mehndi for her daughter-in-law. As the ceremony carried on, not for once Ashrit looked at Jiya, not yet glance at her. It was as if she was invisible to him.
It was because he has no feelings for her. Leave feelings, he hasn't even seen her properly after the roka. He is marrying her just for the sake of his family's happiness. To him this marriage was just a promise he made to his grandfather.
That's it.
Ashrit sat at a bar with Samar and started drinking wine in order to get rid of the pain in his heart. He just sat there staring into nothing and that's when someone caught his eye.
Pihu, his younger sister, was coming to Ashrit to say something but in between someone collided with her and with the loss of balance she fell down.
“Ouch... ahh, kaun andhi hai yaar?” she groaned in pain and suddenly someone's hand appeared in front of her. Pihu glanced at the hand and looked up to see the generous person.
(“Ouch... ahh, who’s the blind one, man?”)
her eyes widened seeing a familiar face after many days. “Noor?”
Pihu acknowledged her. Noor nodded and helped her to stand up. “ You should be careful Princess, there are many brainless brats roaming here”.
Pihu smiled at her and thanked her.
Ashrit looked at the scene unfolding in front of him. He wished to see the person's face as the voice felt awfully familiar for some reasons but Noor walked away immediately when she saw her cousin- Jiya coming in the direction.
Jiya's eyes lit up on seeing Ashrit and she approached him. “ Ashrit!!” She exclaimed cheerfully which to Ashrit appeared like a mad woman's scream.
Jiya grinned and held his hand and opened her mouth to say something but before she could Ashrit broke free from her hold and walked away.
