Avyansh's POV

Sleep was nowhere in my eyes. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about her. It's not like I didn't try to sleep, I did. Even if I close my eyes her picture flashes in front of my eyes making me open my eyes.

Nahi mere khwabo se jaa rahi hai nahi mujhe sone nahi de rahi hai.

Last 3 days were very hectic for me, I started to hallucinate about her. I mean it's not me. It's like she has consumed me whole and changed me into a whole new person.

From the last 3 days my brain was badly fucked by her thoughts.

Yesterday I saw how she interacted with my family and friends, somewhere it felt like she will fit perfectly into this crazy family.

Especially dadi, I was shocked after knowing that she and dadi came from the same background. And they immediately clicked with each other.

Anirudh and Diya too love her, like she is their own sister. The way they care about her says all.

Arya — that was her name.

It means Noble and lioness.

She was the cutest chubby girl I have ever seen. I just wanted to pinch her chubby cheeks all the time.

Whenever she smiles her chubby cheeks puffed up making her small eyes look even smaller.

Her ears turn red whenever she gets embarrassed.

She was the most beautiful girl i have ever seen.

I have seen many girls in my life who always tried to hit on me, however I ignored every girl because I knew they were after my money.

But this girl is something, i mean she barely looked at me all the time, it's like i don't exist for her. It's like my presence doesn't matter to her.I know I am a charmer, girls will die for my one look but this girl just ignored me.

Just a mere coincidence and a mere eye contact that's it.

Now she is not leaving my thoughts.

It's like her picture is printed in my brain for forever.

When I asked her to be my friend, I saw how she hesitated for a moment. Usually people love to make friends easily but she is different as Anirudh said she is introverted and talks less but it looks like there is more about her, it looks like just a facade she is carrying.

However I'm happy that she accepted to be my friend, now I have a chance to know more about her and to discover this weird feeling.

After knowing that she is allergic to carrots and lilies, I promised myself not to eat carrots in my whole life even though I like them and not to bring lilies near her or in the mansion.

If she is allergic to carrots and lilies and she cannot eat them, then I cannot eat them either.

I hope she is fine now.

I looked at the clock and it showed 7:00 am. I quickly got out of my bed and got ready and went down stairs . I saw paras chachu and Saniya chachi standing at the main entrance of the mansion along with their suitcases.

They are leaving for Mumbai.

Mumbai was our native place, after completing studies papa wanted to open his own company,so he came to Delhi with his younger brother, paras chachu after becoming successful in business, paras chachu return to Mumbai with his wife,Rahul and Harika as dadu and dadi were living there alone and there chachu opened a new branch and started working in Mumbai.

They come here for vacation and now it's August already so they need to go back. Rahul and Harika have been staying with us for almost two years, so they are not going.

Dadi and dadu are going to stay some more days because apparently dadi wanted to spend some time with Arya.

Seeing them off at the airport, i along with my stupid best friends and brother's decided to go to Diya's penthouse to check on Arya. I took a leave from Hospital today just to stay with her and make sure she was healthy and good as there was no emergency in the hospital.

After a 20 minute ride from the airport to Diya's penthouse. We finally got into the elevator and reached the penthouse. Anirudh punched the code and we entered inside.

Diya was sitting on the couch while watching Doraemon. “She will never grow up” I internally nodded my head. Hearing our footsteps she turned her head and looked in our direction and lines formed on her forehead as she frowned at us.

" Wah, aaj subah subah ye army force mere ghar me kya kar rahe hai?" She asked us or more probably her best friend and brother, in return Anirudh and Arush rolled their eyes at her.

"We just wanted to check on Arya, if she is fine or not " I said and she nodded

" haa bhai, vo abhi bhi soo Rahi hai. Shayad medicine ki vajah se." Diya said, looking at Arya's room's door and we nodded while taking a seat on the couch.

Everyone started to discuss the basketball match which was going to happen in Evening but my eyes were stuck on Arya's room . waiting for her to come out. After an hour the door of Arya's room opened and she came out while lazily rubbing her eyes.

Arya was wearing dark blue nightwear with little moons on it. Her hair is in a messy bun and her eyes are barely open, she is going towards the kitchen, probably to drink water. I can see little rashes on her hands as she extends her hand to take the glass from the cupboard.

“Shit, it looks like it will take some time to cure properly” I internally nodded my head.

Arya looked up from the glass and her eyes met mine, making my world stop for a minute. She started to blink her eyes gradually to get a good vision while looking in my direction, I smiled at her a little and her eyes widened a little and she split all the water on Anirudh as he was sitting near the counter and her eyes widened more looking at his wet shirt.

I fear that her eyes will bulge out.

Shit, what would I tell my children if they asked me why their mother is not having eyes 👀.

Noo, Avyansh aise nahi sochte hai, think good Avyansh, think good. I internally scolded myself.

" What the hell! Yarr! I just took a shower before coming here!" Anirudh whined while everyone started to laugh looking at his condition. Arya came near him and sniffed his shirt " you just took a bath right?" She asked about being unsure of something

My brother nodded his head and her next line made us laugh even more

"then why are you smelling like shit. Eww" she made a weird face while looking at him.

" I just took a bath before coming here, how can I smell like shit! " he whined more .

Poor baby.

" But I just brushed my teeth and took a bath, so it's probably not the water i spilled on you" she gave him a tight lipped smile and he gasped at her

" I will see you later." saying that Anirudh ran to the guest room to change. Finally Arya looked at me and smiled.my heart skipped several beats on seeing her cute chubby smile.

" How are you feeling Aru?" Aayush asked her in his sugar coat voice which he uses only to talk with maa, chachi,dadi, Diya and Harika. I think now Arya is added in the list too

Why the hell is he calling her Aru?

It should be me who will call her by a nickname, not him. In return she gave him the same smile and said "I am fine Bhai" and he nodded at her

Ohhh so she called him Bhai, thank god or else I would be in jail now for killing my own twin.

Wait! Why was I thinking about a murder now?

"You are not a saint, mister" a voice from inside said but I chose to ignore it.

But it was right, I am no Saint, i will accept it, but i never committed a murder too.

Ok, let's leave this topic.

Anyways thank god she is fine now. Arya came and sat beside Diya only to keep her head on her shoulder and close her eyes.

" Did you take your medicine Aru?" Rahul asked her and she nodded her head .Then Ankush asked her " are you still sleepy Aru?" She again nodded at him, not opening her eyes

Arya seemed a little distracted, I looked at her face for a minute to examine it and saw her face was puffy and Red.

Wait!! Did she cry,

Did She oversleep ?

" Kya hua? " This time Diya asked and Arya opened her eyes "kuch nahi bus subah subah mummy se daat padhi hai" she exclaimed with a sour face and a smile formed on my face seeing her face which is looking too cute now. "Koi baat nahi bacha mummy hi toh hai" it was Arush, he is good at comforting people.

That's the reason. I was worked up for nothing.i exhale the breath i don't from when I was stopping.

Suddenly my phone buzzed, diverting everyone's gaze to me. I looked at the caller and it was my secretary.

Why is she calling now? .

i answered the call

" Yes Simmi, is there any problem?" I asked her.

" Hmm, sir it's an emergency, the patient you are handling is having a heart attack" as soon she completed, I stood up with a jerk and said

" i will be there along with arush and Karan " I disconnected the call. Arush and karan stood up to come with me as they understood.

Before going out I looked at her only to see that she was already staring at me, I smiled at her and then said bye to everyone,we rushed to the hospital.

Reaching the hospital, we found out that the patient had already died the moment he had a panic attack. He was a 55 year old man. Who was suffering from a brain tumor. We were about to do his surgery in 2 days but I don't know how he died that too with a heart attack. Something is wrong. Ican say it. Because I saw his MRI scan report and it was normal then how.

Thinking about the case , I signed the postmortem report and sent the body into the mortuary.

I informed simmy to arrange my schedule for the day after tomorrow as the basketball game is going to happen in the evening and we don't have much time left,so we need to practice well. I went to my mother's cabin

and informed her that I am leaving for the stadium where the basketball match is going to be held.

I need to win this match no matter what happens.
